Committees

The Apprenticeship Branch works closely with the Apprenticeship & Trades Qualification Board and the Provincial Trade Advisory Committees in order to develop legislative guidelines in Manitoba for apprenticeship trades and training. These committees provide an effective partnership with industry stakeholders to ensure proper function and operation of Apprenticeship training.

BOARD/PTAC FALL ORIENTATION SESSIONS

In September, three orientation sessions were offered to educate and inform committee members about the Apprenticeship training system, how board and ptac committees operate and expectations of them. Round table discussions also took place to create a dialogue about how to assist the Provincial Trade Advisory Committees in communicating with Board and Apprenticeship Branch staff.
