Major Scholarships
& Awards
- Apprenticeship Completion Grant (ACG), effective July 2009, provides $2,000 to apprentices who complete their training and become certified journeypersons in a designated Red Seal trade.
- Apprenticeship Incentive Grant (AIG), provides $1,000 per level, up to a maximum of $2,000 per person, to apprentices upon completion of their first and/or second level of an apprenticeship program in a designated Red Seal trade.
- Alberta Centennial Scholarship, $2,005 awarded to 25 apprentices in the second last or final year of an apprenticeship program
- Other scholarships & awards from various organizations
are offered throughout the year
