Permits, Licences and Renewals

Authorizations to Practise in the trades of Hairstylist, Electrologist and Esthetician

For the trades of Hairstylist, Electrologist and Esthetician, Apprenticeship Manitoba issues an Authorization to Practise with the Certificate of Qualification. This Authorization to Practise must be renewed every two years and must be available upon request at the work site. A person cannot legally work in the Hairstylist, Electrologist or Esthetician trades without a valid Authorization to Practise.

If you are an industry practitioner with a Certificate of Qualification and an Authorization to Practise in one of these trades, Apprenticeship Manitoba will send you a renewal notice, with a renewal form, prior to the expiry of your Authorization to Practise. Please ensure that Apprenticeship Manitoba is kept informed of any changes to your personal information (including name and address changes).
