Each spring, eligible apprentices will receive an Apprenticeship Technical Training Registration Calendar in the mail. The Calendar contains a list of the technical training courses offered for the year, information on how to register, tuition payments and the registration start dates. Classes are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

2012-2013 Registration Period Highlights
Apprentice Early Bird Online Course Registration: Begins May 28th (8:00a.m./24hours), all trades offered accessmanitoba.ca
General Course Registration: May 29th, 30 & 31st,
In-person (Wpg & Brandon only), by phone or by mail, 8:30am-4:30pm, specific by trade and date only
Online course registration continues 24 hours in all trades offered
IMPORTANT: If you have not used AccessManitoba or forgot your username and password, contact the AccessManitoba Help Desk to retrieve your login information. Current apprentices will not be able to retrieve this information if they create themselves as a new user. Employers will not be able to register on behalf of their apprentices online.

Starting fall 2012
Learn, study and work in your home community. With a new partnership with Manitoba’s three colleges, led by Red River College, online courses will be available beginning in five designated trades and common core subjects including Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHIMS). For more information about online technical training , how it works and how to apply, visit www.e-apprentice.ca.
A listing of the required textbooks may be obtained from your instructor on the first day of classes or by contacting the bookstore of the college that you are attending.

Local bookstores may also carry the required textbooks.
For each trade, the Curriculum Information section provides you with access to trade specific curriculum including trade level charts, level curriculum, profile charts, NOA comparison charts, accreditation program facility and curriculum checklists.
In addition to completing apprenticeship training at a major institution such as Red River College, Assiniboine Community College or University College of the North etc. Apprenticeship Manitoba may offer technical training through one of the above providers directly in your community.
