Group of people in a boardroom settingNetwork

The Industry Trainers Network is a group of workplace based trainers who meet on a regular basis to share best practices, identify and address common training needs, mentor colleagues, pool resources, create partnerships and identify and problem solve around issues facing industry trainers.

Membership

The Network meets six or seven times per year from September through May with each meeting focused on a specific topic. Meetings rotate from one workplace to another and often include a tour of the host organization. From time to time, longer, more intensive workshops are held on a topic of mutual interest to Network members.

Classroom setting of computersMembers come from all sectors of the economy including aerospace, manufacturing, publishing, retail, transportation, biotechnology, financial services, and post-secondary education institutions. Typically, they are employed as training coordinators or managers by their respective organizations and are involved in workplace training, either direct delivery or as a coordinator of training delivery.

There is no cost to join the Network.
