Birding

Delta Marsh Field Station is a research and teaching facility of the Faculty of Science at the University of Manitoba. The station hosts Delta Marsh Birding Festival annually.
Oak Hammock Marsh is one of North America’s birding hotspots and a great destination for people of all ages.

Whitewater Lake is a globally significant Important Bird Area (IBA), situated between the towns of Deloraine and Boissevain in southwestern Manitoba, providing habitat for 110 species of birds and 40 species of other wildlife.
