Mission Details

The Province of Manitoba coordinated a business mission to California the week of December 11, 2006. The program commenced on December 11 and 12 in the San Francisco/Silicon Valley area with a concentration on new media, information technology, life sciences and possibly venture capital funding. The Honourable Gary Doer, Premier of Manitoba, joined the mission on Wednesday, December 13, 2006 in San Diego and this portion of the program will concentrate on life sciences and aerospace. The program will then continued onto Los Angeles on December 14 – 15 with a focus on film and sound.
