The Province of Manitoba was pleased to host a Mexican Delegation from the state of Jalisco led by their Secretary of Economic Development, the Honourable Mr. José Ramon Robledo Gómez. The Delegation, comprised of 23 people, was representative of the information technologies and the food and beverage (tequila) industry sectors.

Hosted by Manitoba Trade and Investment, the Province of Manitoba planned several events with the companies and Mexican government officials. The "Tequila Producers" appeared on Breakfast TV (City TV) and CBC radio to show Manitobans the history and ways to drink the products.
