Description: Best Beginnings: Baby and Me is a pre/postnatal nutrition program. We outreach to priority populations to help improve birth outcomes.
Clientele: We provide service to pregnant women and their family until their baby reaches 1 year of age in The Pas, Flin Flon, and Cranberry Portage.
Intake Procedure: The Triple P Parenting program is available to participants who have entered our program prenatally.

Description: Provide protection for women and youth through interim housing, information referrals, training outreach and supportive individual and group counselling. Clientele: Women and youth in Flin Flon and surrounding area including Creighton, Cranberry Portage, Sheridan and Denare Beach
Intake Procedure: Self or other referred. Call or walk-in to make an appointment. When appropriate, an assessment will be made for the need for emergency housing.

Description: Child Care Centre operated under the Chief and Counsel of Opaskwayak Cree Nation. Infant and Preschool care offered between the ages of 0 and 6. Offer inclusion program for children with special needs and a Cree based program.
Clientele: Band members are given priority but others are not excluded. Serving the Opaskwayak Cree Nation and surrounding Nor-Man Region.
Intake Procedure: Contact Centre. Will be added to the waiting list. Once space is available, parents are given orientation, enrollment, and tour. Priority given to parents who are employed, taking training, or in a school.
Other Comments: Staff are trained with Early Childhood Educators Level II. Child care centre works in cooperation with the Nursery School Program, Head Start, and local Health Authority.

Description: The crisis centre provides resources, information and counselling to parents who are in crisis with family relationships.
Clientele: Parents, from the Northern Region, who are in crisis such as abusive relationships, crisis with their children, etc.

Description: Our non-profit drop-in program runs during the school year from 4:00 -
9:00 p.m. Monday to Friday. During the summer we try to increase our hours to 12:30 - 9:00 p.m. Monday to Friday. As well as the drop-in program, we run a preschool program for ages 2 1/2 to 5 years, two or three afternoons a week during the school year.
Clientele: Children ages 21/2 and up, who live in Manitoba Housing in The Pas
Intake Procedure: Children must have a parent or guardian fill in a basic registration form before they can attend our Centre.
