Accepting Letters of Interest to its OEM - Supplier Development Program

The Vehicle Technology Centre Inc. (VTC) is accepting letters of interest to its OEM - Supplier Development Program, from Manitoba manufacturers undertaking technology development projects supporting heavy vehicle manufacturing in Manitoba.

Deadline for submission of letters of interest is 4:30 pm, May 27, 2016.

Introduction to VTC

Formed in 2002, the Vehicle Technology Centre Inc. (VTC) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to foster the competitiveness and continued vibrancy of Manitoba’s heavy vehicle manufacturing sector – a cluster that includes manufacturers of urban and intercity buses, fire trucks, motor homes, recreational vehicles, trailers, agricultural equipment and their associated parts and components suppliers. The VTC fosters the competitiveness of this sector by promoting the development and adoption of new of technologies associated with the vehicle manufacturing industry in Manitoba. The VTC is governed by a volunteer board that includes representatives of major manufacturers within the industry and related industry stakeholders. 

Manitoba’s heavy vehicle manufacturing sector represents thousands of Manitoba manufacturing jobs, and in helping the sector maintain its competitiveness, the VTC plays a role in keeping those jobs in our province.
