Red River Valley Flooded Area Map for 1979 & 1997

This represents the assessment of areas which were affected by flooding from the Red River. Locations outside of the areas shown may have experienced localized flooding. The flooded areas were based on RADARSAT imagery taken on April 27, May 4 and May 8, 1997 as well as aerial photography taken on April 29, May 1 and May 2, 1997.
