Water use efficiency

Manitoba Water Stewardship is currently developing a Water Efficiency Strategy. The purpose of this strategy is to identify:

• ways to help Manitobans achieve water efficiency (incentives),
• requirements for Manitobans to achieve water efficiency (regulations), and
• information and guidelines on water use (what you should know).

We are expecting the Water Efficiency Strategy to deliver the following results:

• Manitobans will have a Water Efficiency Strategy that will provide sound guidance on how to achieve more efficient use of water
• Manitobans will become more knowledgeable about the importance of using water more efficiently and the role they can play, both in their work and personal lives.
• Manitoba will contribute, as a global leader, to an international dialogue on water efficiency

Manitoba Water Stewardship, Green Manitoba and other government departments will be working together to coordinate programs that seek to improve water efficiency in Manitoba.
