- The master service agreements will replace the existing pre-qualification list for Manitoba.
- In both cases, the agreement will establish standard terms and conditions, including service level agreements, for suppliers to be pre-approved.
- Successful bidders will be added to a multi-use supplier list. Then, government departments can review the list, ask for a statement of work based on their requirements and choose the most appropriate supplier.
- All vendors that bid on tenders today can continue to do so under this new model.
- This new approach will reduce administration, as suppliers will only need to qualify once, and establish terms and commercial details upfront for three-year periods.
- While being a pre-approved vendor is not a guarantee of business, preferred suppliers will have the opportunity for a consistent source of business for planning purposes.
