In 1932 Albert Zink opened this grocery store in Brandon's east end. The straightforward form and construction—stucco over wood frame—were typical of such ventures, allowing for large signage at the front and clear open spaces within. Those properties serve the new function as well. Refurbished in 1999 as Chyrel's Tea Room, this old east end landmark has found new life and purpose.
