Welcome to Manitoba Municipal Relations. This site is your portal to a network of programs and partnerships we have established with municipalities, planning districts and community organizations with the shared goal of building and maintaining strong communities across the province.

Our team provides training, advice, technical analysis and funding related to such significant areas of community development as infrastructure, land management, neighbourhood revitalization and local capacity building for service delivery.

Our department works directly with the City of Winnipeg and all Manitoba municipalities as well as the Association of Manitoba Municipalities and other entities to develop new funding models, update existing ones and streamline the funding application process to ensure provincial funds are invested wisely on behalf of Manitobans.
