Recognize your colleagues! Public servant to public servant, federal or provincial, urban or rural!
All are eligible!

This year, the National Public Service Week (NPSW) Recognition Committee is bringing the party to you! Do you know a fantastic team of public servants who deserve recognition? Nominate them for a Celebration of Service event!

Whether the team is urban or rural, made up of 5 or 50 employees, we want to recognize the unique contributions offered by Manitoba's provincial and federal public servants throughout 2014's National Public Service Week.

Do you want your celebration in English, French or both? We can do that!

Teams of enthusiastic NPSW volunteers will deliver supplies to your office during the week so that you can host your own recognition event. On the day of the event, you bring the people and we will bring the celebration!

Who can be nominated?

You can nominate any team of public servants from the federal or provincial governments, based in Manitoba. This can be your own team or a group of colleagues or peers.

When considering your team nominations, think about:

Describing the work of the team and how it impacts the lives of Canadians.
How they epitomize core values of the public service, including honesty, integrity, teamwork, cooperation, and respect.
Whether the team has overcome particular challenges.
Other factors that might highlight their commitment to public service.

How does the process work?

Fill out the form. Nominations are due by 4 PM on May 16, 2014.
A Selection Committee, comprised of the NPSW Recognition Committee members, will review all nominations. Selection is on a first-come, first-served basis, while considering a balance between federal and provincial public servants.
The Selection Committee will work with the designated contact at each selected office to arrange the date, time and location for each event.
Surprise recognition visits will be made the week of NPSW: June 16 – 30, 2014.
