Alberta Centennial Scholarship

The Province of Alberta announced the creation of the Alberta Centennial Scholarship to celebrate its centennial and its pride in Canada. Every year, twenty-five scholarships of $2005.00 is allocated to each province and territory to encourage students to pursue post-secondary education anywhere in Canada. In Manitoba, the Department of Advanced Education and Training will award the twenty-five scholarships directly to registered apprentices who meet the conditions of eligibility.

Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada

The Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada administers more than 150 scholarship, fellowship and internship programs on behalf of governments, foundations and private sector companies. Each year, they deliver more than 3,500 scholarships to people interested in pursuing higher education.

Business Council of Manitoba - Aboriginal Education Awards

The Business Council’s Aboriginal post-secondary award program is now in its sixth year. Since the program was launched in 2001, in partnership with the governments of Canada and Manitoba, we have given out 700 awards to date totaling over $1,787,000. We are gratified with the success of this initiative; motivated by our genuine belief that educational opportunity and an introduction to the work force will help our Aboriginal youth take full advantage of their potential.

MB Tuition Fee Income Tax Rebate

Manitoba taxpayers who graduate after January 1, 2007 from a post-secondary institution recognized by the Canada Revenue Agency are eligible for a 60% income tax rebate of eligible tuition fees paid after January 1, 2004.

North American Van Lines Logistics Scholarship Competition

Scholarship is intended for Canadian students in the area of business, logistics, and similar fields, with four lucky winners being selected to receive an award amount of $1,000 each.

Post Secondary Scholarship Program

This program enables Aboriginal communities to build a better future for themselves, and to support and encourage the attainment of higher levels of education by Aboriginal Canadians. The National Aboriginal Achievement Foundation has established a scholarship fund to provide scholarships, based on merit and need to First Nations, Non-status Indians, Métis and Inuit.

Princess Royal Pan Am Scholarship

The Princess Royal Pan Am Scholarship Endowment Fund provides financial support for Manitoba`s high performance athletes in their pursuit of excellence at the national and international levels of competition while serving as a tribute to commemorate the Manitoba visit of Her Royal Highness the Princess Royal in 1999.

Red River Exhibition Foundation Scholarships

The Red River Exhibiton Foundations is the philanthropic arm of the Red River Exhibition Association and presents scholarship awards each year at the Red River Exhibition. Scholarship awards are available for the following industries: Aerospace, Tourism, Agriculture and Agri Food, Automotive and Business sector.

The Helen Betty Osborne Memorial Foundation

The Helen Betty Osborne Memorial Foundation was established by an Act of the 2nd Session of the 37th Legislature of Manitoba, December 2000 under the auspices of the Attorney General, the Honourable Gord Mackintosh. The purpose of the Foundation is to provide financial assistance to Aboriginal persons residing in Manitoba who are enrolled in post-secondary studies in Manitoba.
