If you own farmland in Manitoba, you may be eligible for a rebate
on the farmland portion of your school taxes. A 33% rebate was introduced
in 2004. The rebate amount increases to 50% in 2005.
Your farmland does not currently have to be in cultivation or used
for grazing to be eligible for the rebate. The rebate applies only
to the farmland portion of your school taxes and does not apply
to residences or buildings on your farmland.
