Training for Employees/Partners
Training and continuous learning in the field of child and family services is integral to building the necessary skills and knowledge to adequately support the needs of our children, youth and families. The Manitoba government along with the four Manitoba Authorities and their agencies annually provide opportunities for training and learning development geared to staff and/or caregivers based on input from communities and organizations across the province.
Core Competency-Based (CCB) Training
In collaboration with the Manitoba Association of Residential Treatment Resources (MARTR), Manitoba Child and Family Services annually offers both core-competency and specialized training supporting skill and knowledge development for work in the child and family services (CFS) system.
Training is available to individuals who are working within the CFS system, including staff and case-workers from Manitoba Families- Child and Family Services, CFS agencies and related service providers.
Training offered by CFS Authorities
CFS Authorities provide child and family services education and training opportunities for staff and caregivers of their member agencies.
