Nurse education
We’ve added an additional class intake at the University of Manitoba college of nursing and 400 seats across multiple training institutions including 115 seats at Red River College Polytechnic's new multi-purpose facility and a one-time, 25-student cohort for the practical nursing diploma program in Neepawa.

Physician education
We’ve increased class intake positions for physicians by funding 40 new undergraduate physician-training seats, a 10-seat increase in the one-year international medical graduate program and 30 seats in the two-year postgraduate medical education program for internationally educated medical students.

Undergraduate Nurse Employee (UNE) program
We’re expanding the current program to include returning nurses from retirement and internationally educated nurses.

Psychiatry career program
We’re creating a resident retention program for psychiatry.
