The Reception Unit opened in 1923. A gift from the United Kingdom following
World War I, it was designed in the "Scottish Baronial" style.
Today the unit houses the Acute and Rehab Programs.
In 2008 the building was renamed Dr. David Young Building after the first Medical Superintendent.
