  • All students and staff are invited to the gym for the afternoon recess for a 15 minute power walk during the winter months. The students can power walk and talk with anyone else in the school as well as the staff members. After the walk, everyone is offered a nutritious snack as they leave the gym. This activity was offered to provide everyone at ELI the opportunity to meet other people from the school, get a workout and enjoy a nutritious snack...all within 15 minutes. The gym is always full with eager participants. We've now made this an annual activity at the school because everyone enjoys it so much!
