      Our first item of business is the election of a Vice‑Chairperson. 

      Are there any nominations?

Mr. Matt Wiebe (Concordia): I'd like to nominate Mr. Lagassé.

Mr. Chairperson: Mr. Lagassé has been nominated.

      Are there other–any other nominations?

      Hearing none, Mr. Lagassé is elected Vice‑Chairperson.

      So this meeting has been called to consider Bill 17, The Family Law Act, The Family Support En­force­ment Act and The Inter-juris­dic­tional Support Orders Amend­ment Act.
