Our first item of business is the election of a Vice‑Chairperson.

Mr. Matt Wiebe (Concordia): I'd like to nominate Mr. Lagassé.
Mr. Chairperson: Mr. Lagassé has been nominated.

Hearing none, Mr. Lagassé is elected Vice‑Chairperson.
So this meeting has been called to consider Bill 17, The Family Law Act, The Family Support Enforcement Act and The Inter-jurisdictional Support Orders Amendment Act.
