Neighbourhoods Alive! Communities

Neighbourhoods Alive! (NA!) is Manitoba's long-term strategy to support and encourage community-driven revitalization efforts in designated neighbourhoods including Winnipeg, Brandon, Thompson, Flin Flon, Dauphin, Portage la Prairie, Selkirk and The Pas.
The Manitoba government launched Neighbourhoods Alive! in 2000 as a long term social & economic strategy to support community-driven revitalization in designated older neighbourhoods across Manitoba.  Neighbourhoods Alive! originally focused on Manitoba's three largest cities in recognition that Winnipeg, Brandon and Thompson. Over the years, Neighbourhoods Alive! expanded to include additional communities. As of 2010, there are now 13 designated neighbourhoods/communities eligible for Neighbourhood Renewal Fund (NRF) support.
Neighbourhoods Alive! supports the establishment and ongoing operation of Neighbourhood Renewal Corporations (NRCs) in each of the designated Neighbourhoods Alive! neighbourhoods.
