renewing non profit sector

Participate in Sector Consultations

The Manitoba government is developing a new strategy to build capacity and promote sustainability in the non-profit sector that will guide future provincial investments and inform transformation in community development programs. A new strategy will strengthen the non-profit sector, assisting individual organizations across Manitoba to be sustainable and successful and will ensure Manitoba's non-profit sector is best poised to deliver positive outcomes and increase philanthropy and charitable giving.

For more information, please see the following discussion paper: Building Capacity and Promoting Sustainability in Manitoba’s Non-profit Sector.

We need your feedback on how we can develop new and innovative models of community development that strengthen capacity, increase sustainability and leverage partnerships across the province to improve outcomes. If you have recently worked with or for the non-profit sector, either as a staff member, volunteer or donor, or if you have received services from a non-profit organization recently, we want to hear from you. Complete the survey below and your feedback will be used to develop recommendations on how best to support Manitoba's non-profit sector.

A report summarizing in-person and online survey consultations will be available in late 2019.
Please note: The Manitoba government held a Community Forum in Winnipeg on May 9, 2019 to launch the stakeholder engagement process. Presentation materials from that event will be posted as soon as they are available. Further meetings and consultations are being planned.
