A voter may apply in person or in writing (mail or fax) before Election Day to receive a ballot. Ensure you apply early enough in advance to be able to return your sealed envelope ballot by 8:00 p.m. on Election Day. A family member may also be able to pick up the ballot on your behalf.

For more information on the sealed envelope voting opportunity in your municipality, contact your municipality’s Senior Election Official or local municipal office.

Mobile Voting

Every municipality is required to establish a mobile voting station to serve voters at health care facilities in the municipality, including hospitals, personal care homes and developmental centres. A mobile voting station may be set up on Election Day, or before Election Day as an advance voting opportunity.

For more information on the mobile voting opportunity in your municipality, contact your municipality’s Senior Election Official or local municipal office. You may also wish to speak with the administrator of the health care facility, if you reside at the facility, for more information.
