Government of Manitoba Publication - Definition

An informational resource produced by or on behalf of the Manitoba Government that is made available to the public, with or without charge. The resource may be published or produced in any form (print, digital, or recordings) and may include, but is not limited to:

Reports and reviews (Examples: Commissions of Inquiry reports, Task Force reports, Commissioned reports/reviews and Annual reports);
Books and booklets;
Discussion papers;
Manuals and guides;
Handbooks and yearbooks;
Information and fact sheets;
Informational brochures and pamphlets;
Directories;
Newsletters and periodicals;
Static maps;
Schedules (Examples: Northern Airports and Marine Operations);
Audiovisual and multimedia productions;
On-line digital publications; and
Co-published works (publishing rights have been licensed to a private publisher or university press by the Minister).

Excluded from the Government Publications Gateway

The following will not be included:

Dynamic maps;
Promotional material (advertising);
Forms;
Legislation;
News releases; and
Internal reports and communication.
