* No final capital disbursement fees are charged if a children's trust is transferred to adult services, but a capital receipt fee is charged by adult services on the transferred funds.

Legal:

Where legal services are required, fees will be charged as appropriate.

Income Tax:

Net filed returns:

Social Allowance (GST credit only) $35.00
Basic $75.00

Paper filed returns:

Taxation Trusts:

Infant $55.00
Adult $55.00
Estate (T3) $200.00

Taxation Deceased:

T1 Final and Estate (T3) $200.00
(Additional time is charged in 1/4 hour increments of $15.00)

Deceased Estates:

$100.00 minimum plus $20.00 for each 15 minutes in excess of 30 minutes spent in completing the service.

Investigation:
Investigation Services (basic) $75.00/hour
Investigation Services (assets hauled) $80.00/hour
Travel Time $50.00/hour

Passing of Accounts

The Public Guardian and Trustee will seek Court approval of its fees by passing its accounts in The Court of Queen's Bench in the following circumstances:

  1. where an heir to an estate refuses to sign a Release to the Public Guardian and Trustee; and
  2. where an heir to an estate is legally incapable of giving a Release and has no one authorized to give it on his or her behalf.

When accounts are passed, The Court reviews all Public Guardian and Trustee fees.

All fees are subject to 5% Goods and Services Tax.
