Funding to support skill sharing, group learning and knowledge transfer events, such as conferences and workshops, peer to peer learning activities, and other community driven culturally relevant food system learning initiatives.

Eligible Applicants

Indigenous Government
Indigenous Community
Indigenous Group
Indigenous individuals, businesses, communities, and organizations,
other Indigneous groups undertaking agricultural initiatives

OR

Producer organizations, processor organizations, other industry organizations, research bodies, or municipal government with demonstrated commitment and interest from Indigenous partner and direct benefit to Indigenous partner.

Applicants can apply for funding for:

Conferences/tradeshows attendance
In-person training
Internships
Mentorships
One-on-one training
On-site training
Peer to peer training/learning
Web based training
Community led training/learning events

Cost Share Funding

100% government funding, $10,000 cap.
