Birds Hill Provincial Park
Pine Ridge Self-guiding Trail

Did you see that white flash? Various factors influence the population of white-tailed deer in Birds Hill Park. The trail has nine on-site interpretive signs that will explain the biology, behaviour, habitat requirements and management of the white-tailed deer in the park. A viewing tower is located midway along the trail at the opening to a grassland area. The best opportunity for you to see deer is at dawn and dusk. The landscape of the trail is characterized by aspen oak parkland. Return distance 1.5 km. Allow 1h.
