Cross-country skiers can post their own snow reports and comments on the Cross Country Ski Association of Manitoba (CCSAM) website. Please visit to view or post comments.

Snowmobile Trails:
Weekly reports posted on the SNOMAN website each Thursday. Click on each park below for the latest grooming reports on the SNOMAN website:

All snowmobile trails in provincial parks are linked into SNOMAN's provincial trail network. Visit Snoman trail map page to plan your ride in and out of provincial parks. Remember, a valid SnoPass is required on all snowmobile trails in provincial parks.

Whiteshell Provincial Park - Rainbow Falls Trail - Winter use designation change
Trail from White Lake to Rainbow Falls is now packed for winter hiking, no longer track set for skiing. (January 2018)

Birds Hill Provincial Park - Cedar Bog Self-guiding Trail - PARTIAL CLOSURE
Back loop through the cedar bog area closed due to wet conditions and trail deterioration.  See closure notice for details. (June 14, 2017)

Turtle Mountain Provincial Park - John Lake Trail & Dunseith Trail south of Adam Lake Shelter - CLOSED
Trails closed until further notice due to high water and poor conditions from active beaver activity. (July 18, 2017)

Whiteshell Provincial Park - McGillivray Falls Self-guiding Trail - CLOSED
Trail closed until further notice due to flood damage on bridges and staircases. (June 2016)
