Minister's Workforce Development Excellence Award

Career and workforce development benefits industry, communities and residents, both socially and economically. This helps individuals to thrive and helps Manitoba build an available, diversified, skilled labour force to keep our industries competitive in the global market - now and into the future.

To recognize the achievements of community and industry leaders who foster success in the continuum of career and workforce development, Manitoba Education and Training in consultation with the Minister’s Advisory Council on Workforce Development has established the Minister’s Workforce Development Excellence Award.

This award honours businesses and organizations that have demonstrated leadership in training and the development of programs or services that improve the knowledge, performance and skill of the workforce. It also recognizes the achievements of community and industry groups who foster success in workforce development through education, training, personal growth, professional knowledge, and career development.

Notice: The nomination deadline for 2016 is now closed.
Award recipients will soon be announced.
