• Suicide Prevention Education, Awareness, Knowledge (SPEAK) -  A Winnipeg-based consumer organization developed to educate the public about the link between depression and suicide, and to decrease the stigma associated with having a mental illness.
  
  
• Mood Disorders Association of Manitoba - A provincial self-help organization for individuals experiencing depression. The organization provides information, education and support to those affected by unipolar affective disorder (depression) and bipolar disorder (manic-depression), their families and friends, health care professionals and the general public.
