Continuous Improvement

Selkirk Mental Health Centre has implemented Continuous Improvement as an overall approach to the continuous study and improvement of systems and processes, to ensure the delivery of quality mental health services to the citizens of Manitoba. Continuous Improvement is not simply making changes through best efforts, but ensuring positive outcomes through:

  1. Involving patients/customers in planning and evaluation
  2. Learning/studying systems and processes
  3. Testing hunches
  4. Incorporating Best Practice and Research

Continuous Improvement focusses on what is truly important to patients/customers. At Selkirk Mental Health Centre, the goal is to incorporate continuous improvement as part of our everyday work with a mindset of continually striving to provide quality services to the people we serve.
