Definitions
1 In this Act "common-law partner" means a person who, not being married to the other person, cohabits with him or her in a conjugal relationship. |

| Rules of residence
35(1) In determining a person's residence for the purposes of this Act, the following rules apply: Rule 5 The premises where a person's spouse and infant children, if any, reside shall be deemed to be that person's place of residence unless the person has taken up and continues a home at some other place with the intention of living there for an indefinite period separate and apart from the spouse and infant children, if any, in which case that other place shall be deemed to be that person's place of residence. |
