Local Food

Local Food Page

More Manitobans are supporting our economy by buying local. This section can help you learn about local farmers and processors, and the delicious, healthy foods they produce.

Manitoba farmers grow some of the finest and most diverse food in the world – and nothing tastes better than farm-fresh produce from your own community! An even wider variety of Manitoba-processed foods are available all year round at retail outlets.

There are many fun and interesting ways to meet local farmers and learn more about where our food comes from. Watch for local events and agritourism opportunities across the province.
