• Health Insurance Requirement: Students are required to obtain and maintain medical insurance for the duration of their stay in Canada

• Student Population:  ICM currently has over 200 students from 30 different countries

• Study Periods: There are three semesters per academic year, and each semester is thirteen weeks long. Students are required to take a minimum of three courses but preferably four during each semester at either the UTP I (foundation year) or UTP II (University One) level in order to qualify for full time status.

• University-designed programs:
  • University Transfer Program (UTP) Stage I is designed to provide a bridge between high school and university.  It will prepare you for university studies.
  • University Transfer Program (UTP) Stage II is based on the first year equivalent of the University of Manitoba Bachelor degree programs in selected fields.  
• ICM is located on the University of Manitoba's Fort Garry campus.  You will enjoy access to university facilities and services.
• In addition to formal academic courses, ICM provides additional learning support - particularly in the areas of English and Mathematics.
• Our classes contain an average of only 30 students each and are complemented by small group tutorials and workshops.  
• A quality education is the first step to a successful future.  All of our programs are delivered by qualified instructors and quality assured by the University of Manitoba.
• On successful completion of the courses at ICM, students can transfer to relevant second year University of Manitoba programs.
• ICM staff and their representatives will assist you as required to obtain a Student Permit for studies in Canada.

• University Transfer Program Stage I - a bridge between secondary school and undergraduate studies.
  • The UTP I is designed to adequately prepare you for entry to university level studies.
• University Transfer Program Stage II - First year university level courses in selected degree programs of the University of Manitoba.

• Mixed Programs UTP I/ UTP II (English + Academic) - Students who marginally miss the English entry requirements can study English along with one or two academic subjects.

• UTP II in Engineering - 3 semesters - C$12,000
• UTP II in Business - 3 semesters - C$11,000
• UTP II in Arts - 3 semesters - C$11,000
• UTP II in Science - 3 semesters - C$11,500
• English Languages Program Application Fee (non-refundable) - C$90.00
• Homestay Application Fee (non-refundable) - C$200.00
• Homestay Fee - 4 months - C$2,400
• On-campus Accommodation Application Fee (non-refundable) - C$40.00
• On-campus Accommodation - 8 months - refer to University of Manitoba Accommodations
• Medical Insurance (compulsory) - 12 months - C$456.00
• Student Services (compulsory) - 12 months - C$215.00
