Novel Coronavirus COVID-19

The #COVIDCarefulMB Program

Being COVID Careful means seeking out reliable, accurate information and taking the necessary precautions to keep you and those you care about safe from COVID-19.

With no targeted treatment or vaccine available at this time, critical public health measures are the “new normal” to control the rapid spread of the virus and protect our family, friends and neighbours.

Show that you are being COVID Careful by sharing the ‘I’m COVID Careful’ poster in your windows/workplaces and using #COVIDCarefulMB on social media.

Each of us have a role to play to reduce the virus from spreading. Follow these critical requirements, make it easier to restore services and ease other restrictions.

Manitoba has also undertaken consultations with the business community in developing protocols, including the retail, food services, hospitality, entertainment, gym and fitness, recreation, golf, performing arts and culture, film production and private campground providers.

Public health officials advise Manitobans to stay home as much as possible to prevent the spread of COVID-19. When people do go out, they should follow the guidelines when travelling to our cabins, campgrounds, trails, parks and cottages by being COVID Careful.

Public health orders require anyone coming into Manitoba, including out-of-province visitors, to self-isolate and self-monitor for symptoms for 14 days, or for the duration of your stay if it is less than 14 days.
