EbscoHost Web is made up of 3 databases designed for research and bringing information right to your desktop.
Canadian Reference Centre provides full text for 150 Canadian periodicals, 30 newspapers from Canada and elsewhere, as well as over 400 international periodicals. Examples of online sources in the Canadian Reference Centre include: Macleans, Beaver, Canadian Economic Observer, Canadian Geographic, CMAJ: Canadian Medical Association Journal, Canadian Banker, Toronto Star, Canadian Associated Presse. In addition, this database provides over 20 Canadian reference books and 100 international reference books, 84,606 full text biographies and an image collection of 107,135 photos, maps and flags.
The
Winnipeg Free Press is available full-text on the Canadian Reference Centre from June 2004 to present.
Academic Search Premier database provides full text articles for nearly 4,500 academic, social sciences, humanities, general science, education and multi-cultural journals. In addition this database offers indexing and abstracts for nearly 3,600 journals. Nearly 1,800 journals are peer reviewed.
MasterFILE Elite database provides full text articles from over 1,100 general reference, business, consumer health, general science, and multi-cultural periodicals.

entered EbscoHost Web (controlled access).

Where these journals are online in full-text format with EbscoHost, the links are also provided. However EbscoHost
provides access to many more journals than can be housed in the Library.
