2.0.0 Facility Standards

Introduction to Volume 2

Volume 2 contains provincial standards. They apply to child care facilities other than foster homes. You'll find standards for foster care in Volume 1, Chapter 5 - Foster Care.

Standards and procedures for child care facilities are currently in the Child Care Facility Licensing and Standards Manual. It came into effect on March 15, 1999 and was last revised effective November 8, 2004.

This manual is available in Adobe PDF format only at this time. It will be continually updated as a separate manual for the present. It will be reformatted and integrated into the Child and Family Services Standards website in due course.
