Affiliated Schools Overseas

Manitoba works with partners overseas to make our kindergarten to grade twelve curricula available to students in other countries. We are currently cooperating with the schools listed below and are willing to consider other affiliated schools. You can also view a listing of Canadian elementary and secondary curriculum schools abroad on the Canadian Information Centre for International Credentials (CICIC) website.

The proposal and program requirements for establishing an accredited Manitoba school program outside of Canada are outlined in the following document:

If you are interested in establishing an affiliated school with the Province of Manitoba, please submit your proposal.  When your application is received, you will be invoiced for a non-refundable CAN $3,000 processing fee. If you require additional information, please contact us at

Agreements in place between the government of Manitoba and individual schools in other countries allow the overseas schools to teach portions of the Manitoba school curriculum. Each school offers a somewhat different program, and grade-level affiliations vary, but all affiliated schools or affiliated programs within overseas schools employ teachers who hold a Manitoba teaching certificate. The intent of most of the agreements is to enable graduates to be eligible for a Manitoba high school graduation diploma with the prospect of entry into post-secondary institutions in Manitoba, or other provinces/territories of Canada and elsewhere.
