Please be advised that the 2010 Spring Road Restrictions will be implemented in:
- Zone 1 effective 6:00 a.m. Thursday, March 18, 2010; and
- Zone 2 effective 6:00 a.m. Thursday, March 25, 2010.

Spring road restrictions are determined through collection and analysis of data from the previous year, resulting in the evaluation and determination of which roads will be subject to restriction in the upcoming Spring Road Restriction Order.
To assist motor carriers, farmers and businesses in preparation for annual Spring Road Restrictions, Manitoba Infrastructure and Transportation endeavors to communicate restricted roads to interested parties in the autumn prior to the annual start date. This will enable road users to plan ahead for restrictions season, and minimize the impact to the highway infrastructure when it is at its most vulnerable.
