These assessments are used by your municipality and school division to equitably distribute property taxes. For this reason, it is necessary that information regarding sale detail and property characteristics are accurately recorded.

If you have recently purchased a property you can help Assessment Services in reviewing the information regarding the recent sale of the property to update our records and ensure that the details of the sale and the property characteristics are accurately recorded.

Assessment Services has authority to request sales information under The Municipal Assessment Act, Section 16. Information collected by Assessment Services is protected from unauthorized disclosure under the provisions of Manitoba's Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.
