Built in 1910 in the rising community of Swan River, this modest little commercial structure has always been used as a law office and, in the upper floors, for apartments. The building is typical of its type. It is a simple block of brick construction. The unadorned face fits in with the rest of the street, part of a smooth, continuous strip of commercial opportunities. A modest example, the Law Office Building is given relief by the segmental arches used on the main floor above the door and windows.
