The purpose of the Child Abuse Registry is to help child and family services agencies protect children. Access to the Registry is restricted and all names and information are confidential. Under the Act, you may apply to see if your name is listed on the Registry.

To submit a self-check application you can appear in person at 102-114 Garry St., Winnipeg, MB, between 8:30 and 4:30, Monday to Friday. You must present TWO (2) pieces of valid, government-issued identification, and there is a $10 fee for processing the application. Results will be mailed to you.
If you choose not to appear in person, you may submit an application by mail. You can download the application form to send in by mail or fax to the address below.
NOTE: Read the Information package carefully and follow the steps on the checklist. Failure to include all requested information and components (including a verified photocopy of TWO (2) pieces of identification) will result in the rejection of your application. Your payment will not be processed and your application will be returned to you immediately via mail for correction.
Please allow up to SIX (6) weeks for results of the check.
