Manitoba Bureau of Statistics (MBS)
The Manitoba Bureau of Statistics (MBS) is the Manitoba government's central statistical agency.
Operating under the terms of the Manitoba Statistics Act (C.C.S.M. c. S205), MBS works with the Manitoba government's departments and agencies to address specific information requirements. Additionally, under federal-provincial agreement, MBS is the designated contact between the Manitoba government and Statistics Canada.
MBS also provides custom services including economic and tax revenue impact assessments, surveys and population projections.
