Applying for Wildlife Permits

_______________

You may require a permit or a license for certain wildlife-related activities.

Specific information is required to assess eligibility for a number of wildlife permits. These requirements have been standardized in application forms, provided below for your convenience.

In addition to any eligibility criteria that may be set out in the application form, other requirements may exist in legislation or policy.

For example, export permits for eligible animals and plants that are listed under CITES (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora), and that are being shipped out of Manitoba to an international destination require a CITES Export Permit. Those permits are available from the Environment Canada web site.

You may wish to contact your local Natural Resource Officer or the Wildlife and Ecosystem Protection Branch for more details before submitting an application.

Please download and print the appropriate PDF document from below. Once you have filled out the form, mail it to the corresponding address found on each form.
