Assessment Services determines the assessed value of your home by comparing your property with sales of other properties using the Sales Comparison Approach.

Over time, Assessment Services has collected information about each property in Manitoba from many sources, including building permits, land titles information, site visits, real estate transactions, property owner updates, and aerial and street front imagery.

Owners have the opportunity ensure assessment records for their property are accurate and up-to-date by downloading and completing a Self-Inspection form for their property. To update your property's characteristics on the Provincial assessment record, please fill out the Self-Inspection form.
