Recreation Feasibility Study Grant Program

 
The Recreation Feasibility Study Grant Program is an application-based program to support communities in planning for recreation facility projects. Funding is available for community centres and other non-profit community organizations in Winnipeg and rural Manitoba.
The purpose of this grant program is to support communities by assisting them in undertaking a feasibility study to assess the viability and sustainability of a recreation facility project.
A total of $1.0 million in cost-shared funding is available to support feasibility studies in rural Manitoba, and a total of $500,000 is available to support feasibility studies in Winnipeg.
The program provides 70% cost-shared funding up to a maximum of $25,000 per study.
The deadline to submit applications for funding under the Recreation Feasibility Study Grant program has been extended.
