Getting There:

Zed Lake Provincial Park is located on the east shore of Zed Lake, in the Churchill River Upland portion of the Precambrian Boreal Forest Natural Region. Zed Lake is approximately 1091 km north of Winnipeg or 349 km north of Thompson via PTH 391 and 27km north of the Town of Lynn Lake via PTH 394.

Location and Description of Subdivision

The Zed Lake Subdivision has approximately 24 existing developed cottage lots located in Zed Lake Provincial Park off PR 394. Zed Lake is situated amongst the natural eskers in the area. This park provides outdoor recreational opportunities and experiences. The lake offers swimming on a sandy beach and excellent lake trout, walleye and northern pike fishing. Over most of this location, tree cover consists of jack pine and black spruce with very little under story and a rich covering of caribou moss. The lot sizes vary due to topography or other requirements of subdivision design. Much of the Parks' land base is devoted to an existing cottage subdivision.

Services

Full service amenities including a hospital, RCMP detachment and an airport are provided in the Town of Lynn Lake 15 minutes north on PTH 394
